I am a former prosecutor, Special Assistant Attorney General, with the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General where I prosecuted DUI's exclusively. I have dedicated my private law practice to working with those charged with DUI's. Rhode Island is one of the strictest states in the Northeast with DUI laws and penalties. I will provide valuable expertise, and an aggressive court approach to your case. Facing the immediate threat of losing your license, and knowing that losing your drivers license can have a severe impact on you and your family... my goal is to protect your right to operate your vehicle, and to help deal with the issues of fines, home confinement, and imprisonment.
I am a former Special Assistant Attorney General with the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General. After that, I went into private practice with William C. Dimitri, practicing mostly in criminal defense/litigation. I also practice in personal injury, and LGBT issues.
I am a member of the Rhode Island Bar 1998, Massachusetts Bar 1997, Connecticut Bar 1998, U.S. District Court of Massachusetts, 2003, and U.S. Distrct Court of Rhode Island, 1999. I am on the Board of Directors of Youth Pride, Inc., The Elmwood Community Center, volunteer for Equity Action, Referral Attorney for GLAD, member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, RIBA LGBT Committee, RIBA Criminal Defense COmmittee, and I am on the Executive Board of the Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (RIACDL).
